Cell Structure

In Arçelik air handling units, the cell is made with a specially drawn aluminum corner profile, intermediate profile and panels. The sealing and joining of the carcass is provided by specially designed aluminum corner profiles. EPDM gasket is used to ensure the tightness between the panel and the carcass. Air handling unit panels are specially designed to be able to be disassembled from the outside of the air handling unit frame and intervened inside. There are no recesses or protrusions on the inner surfaces of the power plants. As a standard in air handling units, bases are made of galvanized steel with a thickness of 2 mm and a height of 120 mm. Base connections are made with bolts and nuts without welding.

Profile Structure

It has two profile structures, aluminum and galvanized steel. The aluminum profiles used are min. It has a wall thickness of 1.8 mm.

Panel Structure

The panels and doors of the air handling unit are produced as double-skinned, 60 mm thick. Outer panel surfaces are produced using RAL 9002 protective polyfilm coated paint, inner surfaces galvanized, stainless or dyed sheet. The minimum thickness of sheet metal is 0.8 mm and rock wool used as insulation material is in A1 fire class. Roof sheet can be added in air handling units upon request. There are also labels containing technical information on the switchboard.

It is manufactured according to DIN EN 1886. Test results for EN 1886 Central cassette are as follows:

Body strength: D1

Body leakage class: L1

Filter by-pass leakage class: F9

Thermal conductivity: T2

Thermal bridging value: TB2

Sound Absorption:  21dB or better (at 250Hz)

Insulation

Rockwool insulation is used with a density of 70 kg / m3.

Dampers

Dampers are sized to pass 100% air flow as standard. Damper frames are made of extruded aluminum. Double-walled blades are made of aerodynamically opposite action aluminum material for minimum resistance.

Serpentines

Coils are made of copper pipes as standard, aluminum wing frames and collectors are made of galvanized steel. Battery connections are provided as threaded. If desired, connections can be flanged, serpentine frame stainless wings, epoxy and / or hydrophilic coated, and collectors can be supplied from copper. The assembly sheets of the serpentines are slideways and are designed to be easily taken out for maintenance and cleaning. Serpatines can be made with water or dx.

Filters

It is important for the efficiency of the filter that the air flow rates specified in the technical catalogs of the filters are equal or more than the flow rate of the selected air handling unit. Taking this into consideration, the entire cross section of Arçelik air handling units is used as a filter passage area in accordance with international standards. Filters are cassette type and can be easily installed and removed. An empty cell is left in front of the filter cell to remove the filters. Optional filters are used, and generally filter types are coarse filter, bag filter, compact filter (rigid), hepa filter and active carbon filter. Optionally, a manometer can be mounted on the cell.

Heat Recovery

Nowadays, since energy saving is very important, plate, rotor, battery and heat pipe type heat recovery elements can be used in air handling units depending on demand.

Fans:

Fans are selected by considering high efficiency, minimum energy consumption and low noise level to meet the air flow and total static pressure. In the power plants, forward or backward inclined centrifuge, Plug and EC fans, which are statically and dynamically balanced in accordance with international stadans, are used. Motors in Plug and EC fans are designed as direct coupled. There is an additional door with an additional grille to increase the safety of the fan cells.

Engines

Three-phase squirrel-cage rotor, IE2 or IE3 efficiency, IP 55 protection class asynchronous motor is used as standard in plug or centrifugal fans. In EC fans, motors of IE4 efficiency class are used.

Moisturizers

Three types of humidifiers are used: steam, filled and atomizer.

Condensation Pan

A stainless double sloped pan is used to drain the condensed water in the cooling coil, humidifier and heat recovery cells. The condensation pan includes the cooling coil collectors and the drop eliminator.

UV Lamp

It is used to destroy microorganisms that hold and multiply in the humid environment on the surface of the cooling coil in the air handling unit or in the condensation pans.

Accessories

Sight Glass, Lighting, Emergency Stop Button with Auxiliary Contact, Collective Siphon are provided as standard. Magnehelic or inclined manometer, maintenance switch, differential pressure switch, By-pass damper, Thermistor upon request.
